Status: Permanent, Full Time (1.0 FTE) 12 months with the possibility of extension. Part Time (0.6 FTE considered for the right applicant)
Salary range: $80,779.69 - $84,782.27 per annum dependent on skills, qualifications and experience

Opportunity: The City of Albany’s Engineering Team is seeking a motivated, proactive, and results-oriented individual to join us as a Technical Officer – Assets. This is a 12-month opportunity to cover parental leave, with the potential for extension. A part-time job share arrangement may also be considered upon the incumbent’s return.
Reporting to the Team Leader – Asset Management, this is an interesting and diverse role assisting with condition surveys, traffic counts, drainage camera inspections and GIS tasks in a strategic asset management environment.
About You: Experience in the use of Asset Management software and/or GIS software is essential for this role.
The successful candidate will be a fast learner and excited to learn new skills, software and technology. You will enjoy working with data as much as you enjoy being out in the field, as this role offers both. You will also be a good fit in a progressive and dynamic team.
