Job Description
An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, qualified, and people-driven individual to join the City of Albany team in the position of Manager Engineering.
This key leadership role reports to the Executive Director Infrastructure, Development and Environment and contributes to the overall strategic asset planning and delivery of infrastructure assets capital works for the City of Albany.
Leading the assets and civil infrastructure teams this role will see you responsible for:
Fostering a positive team culture using strong emotional intelligence to effectively manage interpersonal relationships and understand diverse perspectives.
Developing and maintaining the City’s Long Term Financial plans for Infrastructure Assets.
Overseeing the development of designs and contract documentation for capital works programs in accordance with asset management plans.
Overseeing the performance of design consultants, contractors and suppliers ensuring the City is receiving the required level of service, quality and value for money.
Providing engineering expertise whilst ensuring that sustainability objectives are considered in project development and delivery.
