Salary range: $69,662.07 to $80,290.95 per annum, pro rata per annum depending on skills, knowledge and experience.

Opportunity: The Administration Officer – Office of the CEO provides high-level, confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Chief Executive Officer, Mayor, Councillors and Executive Management Team. The role coordinates correspondence, meetings and executive documentation, acts as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, and supports civic functions, executive meetings, travel, logistics and special projects. With a strong focus on professionalism, discretion and customer service, the position plays a key role in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the Office of the CEO.
About You: The successful candidate will bring substantial experience in an administrative or personal assistant role, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality support in a complex, fast-paced and highly confidential environment. They will demonstrate excellent organisational, time management and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to manage competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while handling sensitive and confidential information.
Highly developed written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with strong interpersonal and public relations capabilities and a genuine commitment to exceptional customer service. The role requires advanced computer skills, exceptional discretion, sound judgement and integrity, and the ability to work collaboratively and build trusted, professional relationships with Executives, Councillors, staff and external stakeholders.
