Status: Temporary, Full Time (1.0 FTE, part time considered), 18 months with the possibility of extension.
Salary range: Level 5.1 to 5.4 ($84,010.85 to $88,173.65 per annum) dependent on skills, knowledge and experience.

Opportunity: The City is in the process of implementing a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software solution. Supporting the ERP Project Officer, the Training & Change Support Officer is responsible for the development and execution of user training to ensure successful implementation of the City’s new ERP. This role will see you responsible for the development and implementation of training for staff, contractors, and clients on the new ERP system. You will be required to support a team of nominated staff to complete user acceptance testing and deliver training throughout the project life cycle, monitoring and evaluating the training effectiveness and making improvements as needed. You will act as the central point of user support during the project including responding to concerns and queries, collecting feedback, and refining the training programs.
About You: We are seeking a skilled Training Officer with proven experience in designing and delivering training programs. The ideal candidate will be adept at creating high-quality training materials and developing comprehensive plans that meet deadlines and involve coordination with multiple stakeholders. Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to build positive relationships are essential. The role requires excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to adapt communication and teaching styles to different audiences. Candidates should demonstrate initiative and be able to work independently under general supervision. The successful applicant will play a key role in ensuring the success of our training initiatives.
