Status: Permanent, Part-Time 0.6 FTE. Opportunity for additional hours through to the end of the financial year, with possibility of transitioning to Full-Time next financial year.

Salary range: $73,454.91 to $77,202.66 per annum, pro-rata (dependent on skills, qualifications and experience).

Job Description

Opportunity: The City of Albany’s Emergency Services Team is looking for an experienced and dedicated individual to take up the role of Administration Officer - Emergency Services.

This role will see you responsible for providing high-quality frontline customer service to Emergency Services stakeholders, delivering efficient administrative and project support, maintaining accurate data and financial records, and assisting with the coordination of emergency management initiatives, including grant applications and community engagement activities.

Desired Skills and Experience

About You: The successful candidate will demonstrate strong administrative, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic team environment. A sound understanding of financial processes, emergency services operations, and the ability to liaise effectively with volunteer brigades and other stakeholders is essential.

Experience in customer service, financial administration, project support, or emergency services, along with qualifications in administration or a related field, will be highly regarded.
