Status:  Permanent, Part-time (0.6 FTE)

Salary range: Level 4.1 to 4.3 ($72,446.20 – 74,788.40 pro-rata pa) based on skills and experience.

Job Description

Opportunity:   Albany Regional Day Care is looking for a passionate, experienced and dedicated individual to fulfill a permanent, full-time position within the team. Albany Regional Daycare offers a family friendly, flexible and supportive working environment.

Reporting to the Child Care Educator Team Leader, this role will see you responsible for, but not limited to:

  • working as a team member and assisting in providing a safe and stimulating environment which meets children’s needs and encourages parent participation.
  • overseeing the curriculum and acting as a specialist advice contact for early childhood learning; and
  • generally assisting in the functioning of the Centre

Desired Skills and Experience

About You: To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A passion for working with children;
  • The ability to communicate well with the team and parents;
  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent;
  • Educational First Aid and Working with Children Check; and
  • The ability to manage the demands of a busy workplace.
