Status: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary range: $62,964.91 - $71,661.79 per annum dependent on skills, qualifications and experience.
The City of Albany’s Waste Facility is looking for an experienced and customer focused individual to take up the role of Waste Facility Worker.
Reporting to the Waste Facility Leading Hand this role will see you responsible for safely and responsibly operating plant and equipment, undertaking manual tasks and make a positive contribution to the waste facility function whilst respecting fellow staff and the community.
About You: Successful candidates will need to possess;
- The ability to listen, relate well with others and adapt to different audiences;
- Basic oral, written and numeracy skills;
- Basic computer skills;
- Physical fitness, capable of undertaking manual labour;
- Experience as a machine operator;
- Experience working in a waste facility or similar customer service environment (desirable) and
- Certificate III in Waste Management or equivalent (desirable)
