Status:                     Permanent, Part Time (0.4 FTE).

Salary range:          $29,310.21 - $69,538.01 (per annum, pro rata) dependent on age, skills, qualifications and experience.

Job Description

Opportunity: Albany Regional Day Care is looking for a passionate, experienced and dedicated individual to fulfill a permanent part-time position within the team for approximately 30.4 hours per fortnight.

In this role you will report to the Child Care Educator Team Leader, with your duties seeing you:

  • Working with children and their families on a daily basis;
  • Assisting in providing quality programs for children based on their needs and interests;
  • Working as part of a cohesive team of passionate Child Care Educators; and
  • Generally assisting in the day-to-day running of the Centre.

Desired Skills and Experience

About You: To be successful in this role you will need:

  • A passion for working with children;
  • The ability to communicate well with the team and parents;
  • Knowledge of Children’s Services, the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
  • Qualifications including a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, First Aid and Working with Children Check; and
  • The ability to manage the demands of a busy workplace.
